The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Control Laser Corporation for the procurement of a FALIT TRIO Laser System and integrated workstation, based on the unique and proprietary nature of the technology required to support mission-critical operations. The system must feature high-precision laser marking, engraving, and micromachining capabilities, combined with an integrated multi-axis motion control system, a Class-1 safety-certified enclosure, and Control Laser’s proprietary laser architecture and software suite. Full compatibility with existing government-owned Control Laser equipment, tooling, job files, and workflows is mandatory, ensuring seamless integration into current operational procedures. The acquisition is justified under FAR 6.302-1, which permits sole-source contracting when only one responsible source can meet the government’s requirements, and no other supplies or services would satisfy the agency’s needs. Although this notice is not a competitive solicitation, any responsible vendor may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer by 5:00 PM ET on May 22, 2026, demonstrating the ability to deliver an equivalent system without compromising performance, compatibility, or proprietary technology. Responses must include clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the government, along with the vendor’s Unique Entity ID and business size classification. All submissions must be sent via email, with no phone inquiries accepted, and no reimbursement will be provided for costs incurred in responding. Vendors must be actively registered in SAM.gov with current and accurate information, including Tax Identification Number, Electronic Funds Transfer details, and contact data, as the FBI’s payment system directly interfaces with SAM. The place of performance is Quantico, Virginia, and the contract will be managed by the Department of Justice’s FBI office in Washington, D.C.

Solicitation # 15F06726R0000194
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking a single-award, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract for the design, engineering, manufacturing, and production of Tier II Mobile Command Post Vehicle (MCPV) systems. These systems consist of custom-integrated gooseneck trailers and compatible Class 4 prime hauler vehicles designed to support command, control, communications, and computer (C4) operations. Award will be based on best value, with non-price factors weighted significantly more than price. Technical evaluation focuses on the proposed concept, engineering feasibility, and production capability, with a mandatory pass/fail requirement for ISO 9001 certification. The contractor is responsible for comprehensive lifecycle support, including integration of government-furnished equipment, technical documentation, and warranty administration. All deliverables must meet strict technical specifications and be verified through a Master Requirements Traceability Matrix.
