ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Falls Creek Bridge Repair on will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Falls Township, until 2:00 pm local time on April 22, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened electronically and shortly after which, bid tabulation results will be publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of: Repairs to the existing single-lane steel I-beam bridge on Stone Ridge Drive over Falls Creek to address scour and undermining, including: installing reinforced concrete curtain walls, and installation of Class R-7 rock Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wage Rates Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex.
