The Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the supply of natural gas services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at 1300 and 1020 Metropolitan Ave. Leavenworth, KS 66048. The period of service will be from October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2031. This is for a base year plus 5 option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 221210. Attached is the market research questionnaire that must be comleted and returned by 11:00am central time on July 16, 2026 to Kathleen Wood at kwood1@bop.gov. 
FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM); provision requires all contractors doing business with the federal government to be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. Contractors shall include their Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI) number in the document. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to any award by entering the potential awardees UEI number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in provision may result in elimination from consideration for award.
