Over the past decade, Federal Government customers have procured Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) services through a combination of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and General Services Administration (GSA) contract vehicles. With the upcoming expiration of multiple contracts in the 2011-2012 timeframe, and to increase cooperation among federal agencies, DISA and GSA have agreed on a joint strategy to replace the expiring contracts. GSA, in partnership with DISA, cordially invites your company to attend the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) Strategy Announcement, 10 AM August 6, 2009 at the GSA Building, 18th and F Streets NW, Washington DC. The FCSA Strategy Announcement is essential for understanding how the Federal Government intends to purchase future commercial satellite services from industry. What you will learn at the FCSA Strategy Announcement: - The Federal Government Customer's COMSATCOM needs - COMSATCOM Acquisition Vehicles - Solicitation and Award timeline You must RSVP to attend the event.
