FDA Laboratory Benchtop Luminometer

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, through its Office of Acquisition and Grant Services within the Department of Health and Human Services, is conducting a market survey under Solicitation Number 75F40126SSN134302 to gather information on the availability of a benchtop luminometer for use in hepatitis C research and cell expression studies at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. This is a Sources Sought Notice, not a formal solicitation, and no contract will be awarded based on responses. The instrument must replace a non-operational unit and be capable of reading 96-well plates with an integrated injection system for luciferase reagent delivery, including a minimum of two injectors with selectable volumes. Technical requirements include a spectral range of 340-630 nm, sensitivity of less than 5 amol ATP per well and detection of less than 2 zeptomoles of firefly luciferase, along with a dynamic range exceeding six orders of magnitude. The system must come with compatible PC software for instrument control, plate setup, and data analysis, a minimum one-year full manufacturer’s warranty, and include installation and staff training.
