The United States of Department of State (DOS), Office of Logistics Management, Acquisition Management, is seeking market research for the Department's Bureau of Public Affairs, Office of Video Services (OVS) for one broadcast-quality 1.485Gb HD-SDI video fiber circuit from the Equipment Center on the 2nd floor of the United States United Nations(USUN) Building located at 799 1st Avenue, NY, back to the State Department's circuit router at the Washington, D.C Verizon Audio Video Operations Center (AVOC), or directly to the State Department's Harry S. Truman headquarters building located at 2201 C Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The circuit will need to provide full-time access connectivity for booking occasional use 1.485 Gb HD-SDI services from the USUN facility back to the State Department in 15 minute increments. The NACIS code for this requirement is 517919 - All Other Telecommunications. This is a Request for Information Announcement (RFI) for the government to conduct a market research for qualified small businesses that have the experience and expertise in providing Fiber Optic Connectivity Transmission Services for the above mentioned requirement. This is market research for only small businesses. Therefore, all small business interested parties should submit their company's capability statement no later than August 9, 2016, Standard Eastern Time at 12:00 p.m. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contract of Registration (www.ccr.gov).
