Fiber Installation

The 647th Contracting Squadron, JBPHH, HI intends to award a sole source procurement to Hawaiian Telecom to perform the following: CLIN 0001 The contractor is responsible for the furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, facilities, and supervision required to acomplish the aerial fiber installation from Kalanianiole Highway to Bellows AFS using the existing pole line as much as possible. The termination point for the fiber installation is at Building 220, Bellows AFS, Waimanalo, Hawaii. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 517919 with a business size standard of $25 Million. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days (NLT 5 Sep 2013 12:00PM HST) after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
