NYSIF is seeking responses from qualified firms capable of providing Financial Inclusion Banking Services for NYSIF Claimants, as further described in the Request for Information (RFI). NYSIF is in the process of gathering information from qualified financial institutions and community financial service providers regarding the availability of low-cost banking and financial access solutions for NYSIF claimants and beneficiaries. All firms with knowledge of Financial Inclusion Banking Services for Claimants are encouraged to respond. There will not be a contract award for purchase of services or products directly resulting from this RFI. However, we may use this information garnered from the RFI process in future procurement(s) or research. Respondents will be placed on a mailing list and will receive an announcement of any subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) that may arise from the RFI. Any decision to subsequently issue an RFP for such services will be at the sole discretion of NYSIF, and NYSIF is under no obligation to initiate such an procurement. The RFI document may be obtained from NYSIF’s Procurement website at www.nysif.com/procurement. Interested parties should e-mail contracts@nysif.com with any questions. Please include “NYSIF 2026-137-INS: Financial Inclusion Banking Services for NYSIF Claimants” in the subject line of the e-mail. All amendments, clarifications and any announcements related to this procurement will be posted on NYSIF’s website at: www.nysif.com/procurement. It is the sole responsibility of the bidders to check the website for any amendments, clarifications or updates. All applicable amendment information must be incorporated into the firm’s proposal. Failure to include this information in your proposal may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Responses from responsible firms are due 10/21/26 by 2:00 p.m. EST. The calendar of events is detailed in the RFI. Pursuant to State Finance Law § 139-j and § 139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between NYSIF personnel and a prospective firms during the procurement process.
