Finished Hanging Baskets for City Wide Locations for a Three (3) Year Period

The City of Brampton has issued solicitation T2026-077 for the propagation, supply, and delivery of finished hanging baskets for city-wide locations. The contract is for an initial three-year term running from December 1, 2026, to November 30, 2029, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals at the City's discretion. The scope of work requires the successful bidder to provide 16-inch fiber baskets and specific fiber pots (FNP1211) delivered within Brampton municipal limits during the last week of May or the first week of June. All plant materials must be sufficiently hardened and available for inspection by City staff throughout the growing period. The contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bidder who most effectively meets the requirements. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically by October 6, 2026, and include at least three project references from the past five years. Mandatory requirements include maintaining Commercial General Liability insurance of at least three million dollars and Auto Liability insurance of at least two million dollars, as well as providing a valid WSIB Clearance Certificate. Additionally, vendors must comply with the City's Fair Wage Policy and attest to their vendor origin and the absence of conflicts of interest. Payment is subject to the submission of detailed invoices and, where applicable, a Statutory Declaration of Payments, Liens, and Liabilities.
