Supply Delivery, and Installation of Stage Rigging Upgrade at Rose Theatre

The City of Brampton is soliciting bids for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and warranty of a stage rigging upgrade at The Rose Brampton. This modernization project involves replacing existing motorized and counterweight line sets, rigging controls, drape track systems, and associated electrical infrastructure to enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. The scope of work includes structural modifications, electrical component installation, and the refurbishment of existing components being reused. Bidders are also required to commit to using Ontario-made goods and services. Security for the contract includes a bid bond and a performance bond of at least 50% of the awarded contract price, alongside a Labour and Material Payment Bond. All electrical components must be clearly labeled, and the final system must undergo a Level Two inspection in accordance with ANSI E1.47-2020 standards, ensuring quiet operation not exceeding 45dBA at stage level.
