City of South San Francisco Fire Station 63 - Prequalification of General Contractors 2026 RFQ-01 Closing Date: 08/28/2026 3:00:00 PM PT Detail: Notice is hereby given that; the City of South San Francisco (City) has determined that General Contractors (GC) for the Community Civic Campus: Phase III FS-63 must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid. It is mandatory that all General Contractors who intend to bid on Phase III FS-63 of the Civic Campus Project fully complete the prequalification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the City of South San Francisco in order to be included on the list of prequalified General Contractors. The Community Civic Campus project located at the northeast corner of El Camino Real and Chestnut Avenue in South San Francisco. The new campus will consist of new state-of-the-art facilities: Phase I, which is currently under construction, is the Police Operations & 911 Dispatch Center, with secured surface parking and landscaping improvements (located at the corner of Chestnut and Antoinette Lane); Phase II is a combined project for Library, Parks & Recreation, Community Theater and Council Chamber facilities, with parking and landscaping improvements.
