This project is federally funded and built upon prior planning efforts funded through SCAG's Regional Early Action Planning (REAP 2.0) program for the First Street corridor. The First Street Multimodal Corridor Study will look at options to enhance transportation along First Street by assessing the feasibility of various infrastructure improvements through robust community outreach efforts, field data analyses, design, and environmental clearance. The study will evaluate pedestrian, bicycle, and transit improvements that promote the safety and transportation goals included in the City's General Plan Mobility Element.
