FL-2026-FP - Request for bids to harvest forest products from Larose Forest

The United Counties of Prescott and Russell is soliciting bids for the harvest of forest products from various locations within the Larose Forest, with a contract duration extending from the date of signing until June 30, 2028. The scope of work covers multiple designated areas, including tenders 2026-FP-01 through 2026-FP-05, involving activities such as variable density thinning, spruce salvage, and uniform shelterwood regeneration cuts. Bidders must adhere to strict environmental and operational standards, including maintaining 92 percent of residual basal area, ensuring 70 percent of desirable regeneration remains undamaged, and limiting skid trails to 20 percent of the harvest area. All merchantable timber meeting specific length and diameter requirements must be utilized, and maximum stump heights are capped at 45 centimeters.
