Flight and Schedule Data

THIS MODIFICATION TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO FORMALIZE THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS. THIS DATE IS 22 JUNE 2009 AT 3:00 PM LOCAL (EASTERN) TIME. IN ADDITION, THE FORMAL SOLICITATION AND ALL ATTACHMENTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE. QUESTIONS ARE TO BE DIRECTED BY E-MAIL (ONLY) TO RICK TRAVIS AT contact@example.gov. This modification of the announcement is to correct the synopsis being updated. The original number was 20035534-RAT not 20080708. This synopsis was originally released in June of 2008. (All of the remaining information is correct.) U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires flight and schedule data for all commercial passenger and cargo flights on a world-wide basis. The Contractor shall provide to CBP: real time data feed in xml format; electronically - push using Message Query (MQ) a single file, XML or defined position formats; flight data, but not limited to, for scheduled domestic and worldwide flights; carrier, flight number, date, frequency of service, origin city, airport, arrival/departure times, destination city, airport, arrival/departure times, flight segments and or code share connections, aircraft type, seat capacity, and freight capacity, other relevant information pertaining to aircraft movement and transportation of passengers and cargo; schedule changes (i.e., ground, crew and aircraft delays, cancellations), equipment changes, actual flight data (i.e., actual arrival/departure versus scheduled/arrival times), in a near real time environment (as changes occur); position data for all commercially scheduled passenger and cargo flights, domestic and worldwide, in a near real time environment (as changes occur); statistical flight data analysis of global passenger travel and cargo airlift support.
