These Flight Sciences Technical Investigation & Engineering Services (FS TIES) services include but are not limited to examining aircraft performance, specifications, and capabilities to assess possible improvements or proposed changes to aircraft of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) or other aircraft operated by DND. Contractors must also maintain a secure electronic (computer-based) Management Information System (MIS) to record and store all items (reports, drawings, deliverables, data, etc.) produced by the contractor, procured on behalf of Canada, or provided by Canada. Directorate of Technical Airworthiness and Engineering Support (DTAES) requires the services of multiple Engineering and Policy resources.
