Flooring Materials and Installation

The County of Shasta, through its Department of Support Services, Purchasing Division, is seeking qualified responders to provide flooring materials and installation services on an as-needed basis for county buildings, coordinated by the Facilities Management Division of the Department of Public Works. This solicitation, identified as RFQ 26-32, invites quotes for a wide range of flooring services including installation of commercial carpet, vinyl tile, and resilient base, along with labor for preparation, repairs, and moisture testing. The estimated contract value is $220,000, with a strict cap of $75,000 per individual project, and no splitting of projects to circumvent this limit. All work must be performed in California, with services scheduled to avoid disruption to county operations, potentially requiring evening, weekend, or holiday work. Respondents must be either manufacturers or regular dealers of the products quoted, and must hold current registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations. All labor must be paid at prevailing wage rates, and work must comply with OSHA standards and state safety regulations. Products must be new, unused, and current models from manufacturers, with a mandatory 12-month warranty covering materials and labor. Contractors must provide proof of insurance, including $2 million per claim commercial general liability and $2 million per occurrence professional errors and omissions coverage, naming the County and its officials as additional insureds, with insurers meeting A.M.
