This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between to $500,000 and $1,000,000. Place of performance will be near Folsom, CA. The purpose of this project is to remove and replace existing transformer at Folsom Substation. Work to include but not limited to removing existing transformer KV4A, provide all connections to 230/115-kV, 120 MVA power transformer. Furnish and install a three phase, 14.4-kV interrupter switch with fuses. Furnishing and installing a switch operating platform, aluminum conductor jumpers, grounding, conduit and insulated power and control cables. Removing and disposing of three, single-pole fuse disconnecting switches, aluminum conductor jumpers, grounding, conduit and insulated power and control cables. Installing one, Government furnished, duplex switchboard including contractor provided seismic base.
