SCOPEThis Invitation to Tender consists of the supply and delivery of one (1) 4X4 -10 000LB Off Road Forklift on behalf of the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (DTI).If bidder(s) choose to submit an "Equivalent Product", the bidder must submit the product information for the equivalent product to be pre-approved prior to bid submission. SPECIFICATIONSRefer to the attached Technical Specifications.SUBMITTALSBidders should include the completed technical specifications, and the product specifications with their bid submission.CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIACompliant bids will be evaluated and awarded based upon the lowest total price bid that meets the specifications listed within this document. Prior to contract award the department may conduct reference checks and reserves the right to contact other departments and agencies within GNB to obtain information on the bidder's past performance withing the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultation that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the bidder's bid.HOW TO SUBMIT PRICINGBidders are invited to submit their UNIT PRICE--the price for a single product within the Tender Item--under the 'Unit Price Including Discount' column. Bidders should then multiply their unit price by the 'Quantity/Unit' to calculate the 'Extended Price'. The 'Unit Price Including Discount' and 'Extended Price' column directly on this Invitation to Tender. The "Total including all charges" should not include taxes.Unit pricing MUST include all shipping and delivery costs.DELIVERY DATEBidder should deliver the within 180 days upon contract award.Deliveries thereafter the requested date may be cancelled.BIDDER QUESTIONSAll inquiries should be received five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date; any inquiries received less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be guaranteed a response.
