The County of Riverside Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office (RSO) Coroner-Public Administrator Bureau, is soliciting quotations for overall forklift maintenance as detailed in this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to support the daily operations. The Bureaus primary responsibility is to investigate and report any unexpected, violent, or unusual deaths in the County, as required by California law. In 2025, the Coroner’s Bureau received just under 10,000 death reports and relies on the forklifts identified in this RFQ to support essential daily operations. These forklifts are utilized to move human remains from carriers to storage racks, making planned preventive maintenance essential for equipment longevity and employee safety.
