Full Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District intends to determine the extent of capable small businesses and other than small business firms that have the availability in providing the requirement described below. USACE is considering issuing a Total Small Business Set-Aside, Request for Quote, that will result in one (1) Firm Fixed-Price contract for the Fort Peck Thrust Bearing Oil Cooler and Generator Air Cooler supply purchase for Fort Peck Power Plant, McCone County, Fort Peck Montana. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332410 (Power Boiler and Heat Exchange Manufacturing). Estimated Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000.
PROJECT SCOPE: The general scope of work will include (but not limited to); Contractor shall design, fabricate, supply and deliver (8) generator air coolers and (2) thrust bearing oil coolers to the Fort Peck Power Plant, Fort Peck, MT. The new coolers must be manufactured to meet the size dimensions of the existing thrust bearing and generator air coolers as shown on the as-built drawings.
