This subcontract, managed by the Defense Logistics Agency under the Department of Defense, requires the transportation and delivery of life preserver vests to a U.S. Navy vessel at a designated FPO address. The contractor is responsible for utilizing the fastest traceable means of transport to ensure the shipment reaches its destination securely and efficiently. The agreement is established under FOB Destination terms, meaning the contractor retains ownership and responsibility for the goods until they are delivered. Consequently, the contractor is required to pay all freight charges and provide full shipment traceability throughout the entire delivery process.
