The proposed contract type is a Fixed Price Contract with an Economic Price Adjustment based on established prices posted in "Urner Barry's Northeast Regional Spot Market". Weekly base price shall be taken from previous Thursday's "Price Current Publication" (above + or below - base). Example: "Thursday's price .60 per dozen, you bid (minus)-.15 = .45 per dozen for the week. Your minus -.15 will remain in effect for the period specified (6 months), so every week your price will be minus-.15 off whatever the BASE PRICE is for that week. Price changes weekly. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, which is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
