Repair of two tip-up aircraft hangar doors at Building 1340, Eielson Air Force Base (AFB), Alaska. The work includes repairs to mechanical operating systems; replacement of counterweight systems; door insulation and cladding; installation of heated hangar door thresholds; and all incidental and related work necessary to provide fully functional, operable, and weather-tight hangar doors.


A site visit will be conducted on 29 April 2026 at 10:00am AKDT Participants will meet at B1340 parking lot, 628 Cargain Road, Eielson AFB, Alaska. Names of attendees to 354CONS.PKA.MonitorConstruction@us.af.mil with B1340 Hangar Doors site visit in the subject line due by 5:00pm AKDT on 28 April 2026.


Questions are due no later than 01 May 2026 at 2:00pm AKDT All questions will be answered in the form of an amendment to the solicitation posted to the SAM.gov website. IAW with FAR 14.209(c) Electronic bids, ONLY ELECTRONIC submissions will be accepted. Bids must be submitted via email to BOTH of the following individuals on or before ***4 June 2026 at 02:00PM AKDT.
