The contractor must verify and document compliance of all components, accessories, and consumables before shipment and ensure that all wood packaging is ISPM 15 certified for overseas shipping. Installation, two preventive maintenance services per year for two years, and corrective maintenance as needed are included, along with on-site training for forensic analysts, lab technicians, and equipment operators in Guatemala City. Performance must be completed within 60 calendar days of award, with no partial deliveries permitted, and all equipment must be delivered to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences of Guatemala in Guatemala City, with INL Guatemala serving as the importer of record for customs clearance and duty exemptions. The Contractor shall provide to the U.S. Government new fume extraction hoods and accessories, not previously used, in strict compliance with the specifications at the agreed upon firm fixed price. Vendor shall install the equipment, provide maintenance services and train end users. In the event of noncompliance with the specifications, the U.S. Government reserves the right to demand collection(s) or reject this requirement in its entirety.


If brand name is not used, technical specification sheets are required to be submitted prior to equipment approval and acceptance. 


Technical Requirements:
• The equipment MUST be clean, new, and not previously used, and MUST be delivered in optimal operating condition and quality.
• All manuals MUST be provided in both Spanish and English.
• All equipment shall have a manufacture date not older than twelve (12) months at the time of delivery.
• The Contractor MUST provide a valid calibration certificate issued by the manufacturer or an accredited calibration laboratory.
• The Contractor MUST verify and document compliance of all accessories, consumables, and components with the required specifications prior to shipment.
• The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials required by this contract.
