Furnish Helium to the National Weather Service Upper Air Site in Las Vegas, NV

This publication serves as notice of intent to procure supplies for the Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Las Vegas, NV. The government intends to acquire supplies using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Proposed vendor will furnish helium to the Las Vegas WFO per the attachment and description included in this combined synopsis/solicitation. The government intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance that will be from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals.
