Furnish Labor, Materials and Essentials to Install

Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for the fabrication and installation of four polystyrene monument style signs for the Department of Parkways. The project includes two double-sided signs at Oak Ridge and Ehret Place, and two single-sided signs at Old Marrero and Avondale. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and freight, including 3,000 PSI concrete footers and Schedule 40 mounting posts. While minor site work and grading are required to ensure proper drainage, the scope specifically excludes electrical and landscape work. All installations must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and relevant federal and state construction guidelines. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. To be considered, bidders must hold a Louisiana State Contractors Commercial license in Building Construction or Limited Specialty Services and provide a signed bid affidavit certifying compliance with various state laws regarding theft, fraud, and employee legal status. A critical requirement is the submission of final insurance certificates that comply with Parish Resolutions within ten calendar days of the bid opening; failure to do so will result in bid rejection. Work must be performed on non-holiday weekdays between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, following a written Notice to Proceed and a 24-hour advance notification to the Parkways Department.
