FXSB 26-7337 Repair Replace Hangar Roof B11551

A site visit is scheduled for 8 June at 11:00 AM local time at Building 11551, a one-story, 75,000 square foot historic structure originally built in the early 1940s and eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The building features a primary steel and cast-in-place concrete frame with a central 200-foot by 229-foot open area crowned by a high barrel roof totaling approximately 50,500 square feet, along with three low-slope lean-to roof sections: West (36 ft by 268 ft), East (36 ft by 229 ft), and South (36 ft by 180 ft), plus a 35 ft by 38 ft addition on the East side. The project will entail complete removal of the existing built-up roof from all sections down to the structural decking and replacement with new roofing systems: a three-ply SBS-modified built-up roof with granular cap sheet on the barrel section and 90-mil EPDM membrane on all three lean-to sections, all fully adhered. The scope includes replacing all associated components such as roof drains, flashings, vent pipe details, cover board, insulation, vapor barrier, cant strips, and metal copings and trim.
