AI Contract Overview
This announcement is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by MICC Fort Eustis under the solicitation number W911S026RTTCS, seeking insights from potential vendors capable of providing backer-mounted, illuminated channel lettering and logos for the entrance canopy of Building 950 at Fort Eustis, Virginia, as well as refacing and refurbishing five existing monument signs on the same campus to like-new condition. The objective is informational only; no contract will be awarded based on responses, and the government will not compensate respondents for their submissions. All work must be performed on-site at 950 Jefferson Ave, Fort Eustis, VA 23604, with full responsibility for materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel resting with the contractor. The canopy installation requires a backer panel covering previous signage areas, sealing of abandoned holes with high-grade silicone, and non-corrosive mounting hardware, while the monument signs must undergo surface restoration, repainting, and rebranding to meet strict cosmetic and durability standards with zero visible defects from ten feet away. Technical requirements align with the National Electrical Code and UL 48 for lighting, and all work must comply with U.S. Army branding guidelines, including color accuracy and finish uniformity. Responses must be submitted via email to Kristen Walden and Curtis Arthur no later than 1400 PM EST on Monday, July 6, 2026, using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint files only, and must include proposed Quality Control Plans, Work Plans, Key Personnel Lists, and Environmental Compliance Plans. The RFI indicates a future contract will likely be awarded using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable approach, with performance evaluated on strict pass/fail criteria across canopy fabrication, illumination, monument restoration, painting, and site cleanup. All contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens or valid resident aliens, undergo NCIC background checks, and adhere to on-site security protocols including badge usage, FPCON compliance, and prohibited use of commercial email. No set-asides are in effect, and although no contract value is disclosed, funding obligations will only arise if a formal solicitation follows this information-gathering phase.
