The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded Cost Reimbursement contract modification N00019-17-C-0033-P00004 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation - Aerospace Systems (NGC-AS), San Diego, CA for activities including: logistics management; engine repair, transportation, and documentation support; maintenance, test and support equipment requirements; and instructional operator activities in support of the MQ-8 Fire Scout Unmanned Aircraft System. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
