MoDOT Statewide FY27 - Dump Truck 2028 Models - Multiple Award
Solicitation # MODOT 0000000406SL
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is soliciting bids under IFB MODOT 0000000406SL for the procurement of 2028 model year dump trucks in single axle, tandem axle, and towplow configurations. This is a multiple award solicitation established as a Blanket Purchase Agreement, with an award period extending from the date of contract award until October 31, 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically via MissouriBUYS by October 21, 2026, though hard copies are permitted if the buyer is notified five days prior to closing. Evaluation is based on a 100-point system focusing on the best proposal, with cost calculated by comparing the bidder's price to the lowest responsive price. Technical requirements are detailed across several specifications, including stainless steel dump body construction and specific district configuration packages. Bidders must provide a pricing sheet, delivery schedules, corrosion mitigation lists, and engineering drawings. Key compliance mandates include adherence to the Domestic Product Procurement Act, which offers a 10 percent preference for U.S.-manufactured goods on purchases exceeding 25,000 dollars, and strict non-discrimination laws. Deliveries are handled as FOB destination, with chassis sent to body builders and completed units delivered to receiving districts. MoDOT retains the right to perform thorough post-delivery inspections and reject vehicles for non-compliance or poor workmanship.
