AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7L3-27-T-2469 is a procurement for 12 gaskets (NSN 5330-00-781-0329) with dimensions of 15/16 inch outer diameter, 11/16 inch inner diameter, and 3/8 inch thickness. The contract is managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support Land Supplier Operations Vehicle Support, with a delivery requirement of 165 days after date of order. This is a restricted source item requiring engineering source approval by the government design control activity. Delivery is set as FOB Destination Other, with the shipping destination located at the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility in Pennsylvania. The technical specifications mandate strict material prohibitions, including the exclusion of asbestos, Class I ozone-depleting chemicals, and the intentional addition of mercury. Due to the risk of deterioration from ultraviolet rays, the gaskets must be sealed in medium duty, waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bags per MIL-DTL-117, Type II, Class C, Style 1. Marking and identification must comply with MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130N, and items with a shelf-life must retain 85% of their stated life upon delivery. The contract incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including destination inspection, Buy American requirements, and cybersecurity reporting standards. Payment and receiving reports are to be processed electronically via the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system.
