Full Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform broad-spectrum chemical weed control. The areas to be treated under this contract include sandbars on the Missouri River between Pickstown, SD and Ponca, NE, including Lewis & Clark Lake. This is a fixed priced, performance based service contract where desired outcomes are defined and measured while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed. The treatment areas will consist of a total minimum of 200 acres, and up to a maximum of 1200 acres. Spraying will occur between 05 September 2017 and 23 September 2017. Spraying will not be allowed when threatened or endangered birds are found on or near the sandbars. It is imperative that the Contractor begin work as soon as conditions allow in order to ensure completion of the contract prior to September 23rd.
