General Property Maintenance JOC

The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), also known as Cincinnati Metro, has issued Request for Proposal #105-2026 for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to provide as-needed general property maintenance. The scope of work includes mowing, trimming, edging, vegetation control, fallen tree limb removal, and debris or public dumping cleanup across various Hamilton County locations, including sites on Eastern Avenue, Redbank Road, and the intersection of Madison Road and Steel Place. Services are to be performed Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until sunset, with a requirement for contractors to notify the project manager within one hour of any accident or property damage. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov portal by 2:00 pm on October 22, 2026. Submissions are required in two volumes: a technical proposal covering the project approach, qualifications, and staffing, and a separate business proposal for pricing. Award decisions will be based on the most advantageous proposal, considering cost and other factors, rather than strictly the lowest bid. Selected contractors must adhere to NET 30 payment terms and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile, worker's compensation, and crime coverage. The contract requires strict compliance with the Ohio Revised Code and federal non-discrimination laws, including the ADA and Equal Employment Opportunity standards.
