The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purpose of procuring Generator Preventative Maintenance Services for a 400kW Caterpillar SR4 emergency generator and auxiliary systems at Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region IX, 1111 Broadway, Suite 1200, Oakland, CA.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number for this requirement is 70FBR926Q00000022, which must be referenced on all quotation documents submitted in response to this solicitation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
FEMA intends to enter into a single-award firm-fixed-price contract. This procurement will be conducted as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The period of performance is 12-months from the date of award, with (4) 12-month option periods, if exercised.
A firm fixed price contract award may be made to the responsible offeror submitting an overall proposal that is determined best value to the Government’s needs, price and other factors considered, using the procedures prescribed in the technical evaluation factors.
