Online sealed bids for the construction of Gettysburg Phase 2 Sanitary Sewer Replacement will be received by Gettysburg Municipal Authority via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.bonfirehub.com) until Monday, August 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at no cost at www.PennBid.bonfirehub.com All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted via PennBid’s “Questions” tab. No questions will be accepted by phone, fax, or direct e-mail. Each bidder must deposit, with the bid, Security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workmen employed on this project, are incorporated in the Contract Documents. A Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held at 424 East Middle Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Prospective bidders may discuss the project at that time with representatives of the Owner and Engineer.
