Description


This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 


Solicitation number 12444326Q0032 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of one (1) motor grader shoulder retriever for use in road maintenance operations on National Forest System roads. The motor grader shoulder retriever will be operated on side a motor grader to facilitate cleaning of drainages and pulling of surfacing materials back up onto the roadway for blading. The equipment shall be hydraulically operated from inside the cab which can raise and lower and effectively clean drainages alongside the roadways. The equipment shall be new, unused, and of current production.


This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333120. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
