Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) anticipates awarding a new contract under solicitation N00019-15-R-2012 to Orbital Sciences Corporation, Chandler, AZ for Integrated Logistics Support and Sustaining Systems Engineering for the hardware and software in support of the GQM-163A. The contractor will be responsible for the services and support to ensure that hardware will be available to support future launch operations. The GQM-163A is a surface launched aerial target system that emulates the anti-ship cruise missile in support of weapons system test and evaluation. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
