GREENERY EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICES

Orange County Waste & Recycling is soliciting firm price bids under IFB-299-3125001-AA for greenery equipment maintenance and repair services across three active landfills: Valencia Greenery at Olinda Alpha, Bee Canyon Greenery at Frank R. Bowerman, and Capistrano Greenery at Prima Deshecha. The selected contractor will be responsible for establishing and executing routine monthly maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability of material handling and organics processing equipment, including XL3 Tracks, MGL 842T Stacking Conveyors, and Komptech Stonefex. Services include visual inspections, fluid and filter replacements, system testing, and mechanical lubrication performed according to OEM recommendations and manufacturer-specified intervals. Corrective maintenance will also be provided on an as-needed basis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with evaluation factors including the ability to meet requirements, past performance, and acceptance of the County's terms. Preference is given to certified County of Orange Local Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises. Awardees must provide a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, as well as a valid UEI and D-U-N-S number. Bids must be submitted via the OpenGov portal by October 13, 2026, and must include a signed Campaign Contribution Disclosure Form to comply with the Levine Act. Payment terms are net thirty days following the receipt of an acceptable invoice.
