Industry representatives have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one discussions with Government GSTAMIDS FCS team members from August 4 to August 15, 2003. These sessions aim primarily to allow potential offerors to provide feedback and pose questions regarding the draft Request for Proposal released on July 24, 2003. Additionally, these private meetings serve as a forum for industry participants to confidentially present proprietary efforts to government personnel. The sessions will be held at Fort Belvoir, Building 362, in a secure environment to protect sensitive information, with a maximum of seven attendees per industry group. Security measures require all attendees to be U.S. citizens. Each session is limited to 90 minutes with two daily time slots available, scheduled on a first-come basis. Technology such as a computer with CD ROM and Zip-250 drives, as well as an overhead projector, will be provided. Interested parties must arrange appointments by contacting Sandy Swink by August 1, 2003, and submit relevant company and attendee information, as well as the general nature of discussion topics, via email to the Contracting Officer. Advance written questions or comments are optional but can be sent to the Contracting Officer to facilitate productive discussions. This organized interaction provides a valuable platform for industry and government collaboration ahead of the formal solicitation process.
