Tower Hamlets is seeking a creative and flexible provider to deliver person-centred day activity services for autistic adults and individuals with learning disabilities. The contract focuses on promoting inclusion and independence through activities that support life skills, training, employment, clinical and health care services, and social interactions. The provider will work in partnership with the Community Learning Disability Team, council departments, and families to help service users develop social, emotional, and communication skills while participating in mainstream community activities. The contract is estimated at 667,590 GBP excluding VAT for a one-year term running from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028. Bidders must meet strict financial criteria to avoid exclusion, including a minimum annual turnover of 1,335,180 GBP and a Dun and Bradstreet Risk Indicator score of 1 or 2. Evaluation is based on Quality Method Statements at 60 percent, Price at 30 percent, and Social Value at 10 percent. The procurement is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises.
