This requirement is for a construction contract to restore and modernize hangar door systems at Buildings 1200, 1511, and 1614. The Governments objective is to ensure these hangar doors are safe, reliable, and fully functional in support of flightline and installation operations. The Contractor shall be responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and managing all activities necessary to achieve the objectives in accordance with the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). Period of Performance: 295 Calendar Days after NTP issuance. The Magnitude of this requirement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(f) is valued between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.A site visit is schedule for 13 May 2026 / 9:00 AM (local) EST. Meeting location is 20th Contracting Squadron, Bldg 216 parking located at 321 Cullen Street, Shaw AFB, SC. SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY! Contractor is required to bring all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and equipment to access all necessary components (i.e., ladders) if desired. Base access requests (Attachment 16-BLANK Shaw AFB Contractor Request Template) are due to Mr. Darrel Ford at darrel.ford.3@us.af.mil and 2d Lt Johnathan Youngblood at johnathan.youngblood.2@us.af.mil. no later than 5 May 2026/ 3:00 P.M. (local) EST for site visit access. Access request will not be accepted after date/time suspense. All questions for this solicitation will be due no later than 20 May 2026 / 11:00 A.M. (local) EST. Submit questions to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Darrel Ford at darrel.ford.3@us.af.mil and 2d Lt Johnathan Youngblood at johnathan.youngblood.2@us.af.mil.
