INVITATION TO BID
Hanover Trolley Trail - Route 116 Trailhead
Sealed bids for the construction of a trailhead parking lot and installation of a pedestrian bridge will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by the York County Rail Trail Authority, York County, Pennsylvania, until 10:00 AM, Friday, May 29, 2026.
Contract No. 1 – General Construction
Contract No. 2 – Electrical Construction
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available end of business day, same date.
Copies of Bidding Documents for the Hanover Trolley Trail - Route 116 Trailhead are available online and at no cost via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
NOTE: The York County Rail Trail Authority has authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the York County Rail Trail Authority.
A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the York County Rail Trail Authority in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid.
Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
The Contract Time for this project is Ninety (90) calendar days.
York County Rail Trail Authority reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
