Harbour Dredging – Winnipeg Beach, MBObjectives of the RequirementFisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours (SCH) is responsible for maintaining safe and accessible harbours. Dredging of the entrance channel is necessary in order to maintain safe navigation within the harbour.Scope of WorkThe Contractor will be responsible for the following:Dredging of a 1541 square metre area to a grade of 215.00m. Approximate volume is 1812 cubic metresRemoval and disposal of dredged material off DFO property above the high water markGeneral RequirementsHealth and Safety:The Contractor must execute the works identified herein in strict compliance with the requirements set forth in the following.Canada Labour Code Part II – January 2008.Public Heath Requirements – Contractor to follow all Federal and Provincial public healthrequirements and guidelines in place at the time of construction/contractor physicallyworking at site.Departmental SupportSCH will provide the Contractor with ready access to departmental staff to assist with the preparation of background materials or the delivery of a particular project requirement.All work under this contract must be completed by March 10, 2023.
