The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a requirement for the transport and installation of approximately seventy (70) manufactured homes and/or travel trailers from Hope, Arkansas to various counties within the state of Arkansas. FEMA intends to purchase these items using FAR Subpart 13.5 as a firm fixed price order. This is a new requirement, and there is no incumbent contractor. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will only be available on the FedBid web page at http://www.fedbid.gov/ . Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the RFQ and all attachments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBid web page for the release of the solicitation and amendments. The RFQ should be available for downloading on/about two (2) days after publication of this announcement. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. This will be a FAR 6.207 Set-aside for local firms during a disaster or emergency and is restricted to contractors located within the state of Arkansas.
