This contract is a firm-fixed-price, non-personal services requirement for hazardous tree removal and fuels management services along 92 miles of road within the Slater Fire and Wild Rivers Road system on the Rogue River Siskiyou National Forest in Oregon, with partial performance extending into Siskiyou County, California. The primary objective is to reduce wildfire fuels, enhance forest health, and improve the long-term yield potential of the area by selectively removing hazardous trees while preserving dominant and codominant trees of the highest quality. The work includes felling, stacking, pruning, and slash treatment, along with incidental activities such as brushing access routes and managing road openings and closures. Additional optional services cover 49 miles of Forest Service roads, and the contract has a base period of performance from August 1, 2026, through October 1, 2028, with an option to extend services for up to six months. The contract is exclusively set aside for small businesses under FAR 19.5, with all offerors required to be SAM-registered and provide their UEI and CAGE codes. Compliance with the Service Contract Act wage determination (1977-0079-82) and the Field Guide for Tree Risk Assessments and Hazard Tree Mitigation is mandatory, and all work must adhere to USDA Forest Service standards including spark arrester requirements and sediment control measures.
