Hazardous Waste Material supplies for Environment, Health & Saferty

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has issued Invitation for Bid 3000012948 for the procurement and delivery of various new hazardous waste containers to its Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility. The contract is for an initial one-year term with the option for two additional one-year renewals. All orders must be delivered Free-On-Board Destination and offloaded by the supplier within 30 calendar days of a purchase order. All containers must be new and delivered via pallets. Supplied items must comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and state and federal clean air and water pollution requirements. Depending on the item, certifications from ASME, UL, NEMA, or the American Gas Association may be required. The University will award the contract based on the best value, evaluating bids on completeness, content, cost, vendor responsibility, and delivery promptness. Vendors must submit their responses electronically via the electronic Vendor Portal by October 1, 2026. Required documentation includes a cover letter, title page, signed execution pages, and specific attachments regarding pricing, customer references, worker locations, and financial certification. Payment is contingent upon a successful inspection by the Contract Administrator, and invoices must be submitted as single invoices per order containing detailed part numbers and contract information. Vendors must also certify compliance with North Carolina General Statutes, including E-Verify requirements for employers with more than 25 employees.
