Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC) System Upgrade at Diamond Ranch High School Gym

The Pomona Unified School District plans to upgrade the gymnasium at Diamond Ranch High School by replacing its outdated, non-operational heating system with a modern, energy-efficient Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. The project involves installing complete HVAC infrastructure—including heating and cooling units, ductwork, controls, and related mechanical components—within the existing gymnasium structure without altering the building’s footprint, use, or size. The current system provided only heating, and the new system will deliver full climate control to ensure a safe, comfortable, and code-compliant indoor environment that supports student and staff health, well-being, and academic performance. All work will be confined to the already developed school site, with no expansion or change in functional use of the facility.
