AI Contract Overview
The FDA Human Foods Program is soliciting a contractor to provide on-site maintenance and support for Konica Minolta Bizhub “4” and “8” model multifunctional devices, as well as new Bizhub “0” model MFDs, across six of its building locations in Maryland. Only an original equipment manufacturer authorized service provider using genuine Konica Minolta parts and employing certified, trained technicians on OEM hardware will be considered. The contract requires strict adherence to manufacturer specifications to ensure reliability and performance under heavy usage. The solicitation, numbered OMASITHFPMFD01, was posted on August 5, 2026, with a response deadline of August 14, 2026, and is managed by the Omas Strategic Buying Center – Information Technology under the Department of Health and Human Services. The contract will cover 44 MFDs located at sites in Maryland, with performance centered at 17776, Rockville, MD 20740. Full Description
The FDA Human Foods Program (HFP) is seeking to continue a maintenance agreement and obtain on-site support for current Konica Minolta (KM) Bizhub ‘4 and 8’ model MFD and new Konica Minolta Bizhub ‘0’ model MFDs between six HFP building locations. We are seeking a contractor with the manufacturer's specifications to include a base plus one option year. These MFDs are utilized in offices with high volume needs regarding the size and number of photocopies/prints/scans required for various document types. Due to budget cuts, HFP decreased MFD coverage in FY2025 under a one-year maintenance contract (NNG15SD39B) awarded in 2025. Coverage will now cover MFDs for 44 machines with only an OEM Manufacturer with Genuine Parts, Certified and Authorized as a Service Provider. Technicians should be authorized certified trained on OEM Konica hardware.
