The contract seeks a high-vacuum compatible rotary stage system under a total small business set-aside, with the NAICS code 334516 and a size standard of 1,000 employees, targeting small business contractors capable of delivering precision motion control equipment for use in NIST’s Gaithersburg, Maryland laboratory. The scope includes a large-aperture rotary stage with a 135–200 mm clear aperture, ±180° rotational range, ≤0.003° repeatability, and ≤0.004° accuracy, integrated with a motion controller compatible with Windows and LabVIEW, a DN100 CF vacuum feedthrough with electrical connections, and pre-manufacturing engineering services to ensure design alignment with NIST’s requirements.
