The City is interested in contracting with a Consultant that shall provide the City with environmental and final design phase services related to the HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CYCLE 12 RAILROAD CANYON ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS ENVIRONMENTAL, FINAL ENGINEERING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND COST ESTIMATE SERVICES (PS&E), AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT FOR FEDERAL PROJECT NO. HSIPL-5074(023), City Project No. Z10104. The intent of the project is to 1) Relocate utility poles and install guardrails near Church Rd, 2) Install high friction surface treatment, LED/Flashing Beacon Chevron and Curve Ahead signs, and additional reflectors along curved roadway segments, and 3) Signal hardware and signal timing improvements, along the extents of Railroad Canyon Road from Summerhill Drive/Grape Street to the eastern city boundary with the City of Canyon Lake. All work is funded by HSIP funds. The scope of work includes preparation of all required documentation for the Caltrans Office of Local Assistance to successfully implement the Project through all necessary phases of work to the beginning of construction. Provide engineering design support during the Construction Phase and preparation of As-Builtplans. The Consultant shall complete various tasks involved in environmental clearance, Plans/Specifications/Engineer’s Estimate (PS&E) preparation, request for authorizations for construction, bidding, and construction support, as shown, but not limited to, in the list below. The following is a general description of the scope of services, but the Proposer shall anticipate any additional coordination or scope needed to meet the project goals and objectives in their proposal.
